Rekha Gupta was chosen as leader of the BJP Delhi Legislative Party on Wednesday. Rekha Gupta defeated Bandana Kumari of AAP for 29,595 votes in the electoral district of Shalimar Bagh in the elections of the Legislative Assembly of Delhi 2025.
The oath ceremony of the new BJP government was held at the emblematic Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi and was treated by prominent faces such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Interior Minister, Amit Shah, Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, Minister Health and BJP President Nadda Nadda Nadda. . Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Nayab Singh Saini, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Bralesh Pathak, Bhajanlal Sharma, Diya Kumari and others were present at the Rekha Gupta oath ceremony.
