NAROWAL: The director allegedly tortured a class student X for signing a uniform shirt during a school celebration in Sialkot Muzaffarpur Tehsil.
According to the Anwar, a resident of Defense Road, his 16 -year -old daughter, Warda Adeel, who is a patient of the heart, was tortured by the director. He has filed complaints before Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz, and the Police, seeking justice.
Anwar declared that Warda had visited school on the last day to meet staff and friends. As part of the tradition, the students signed the white uniform shirts of the other to commemorate the occasion, something that had been done in previous years as well. However, the director of the Tasneem Afzal school supposedly broke into the classroom, verbally abused the students and dragged Warda for his hair.
“Warda was slapped, beaten and kicked before being locked in a room,” said Anwar.
In addition, he said that his daughter was not the only victim, since other students were also undergoing similar treatment.
After the incident, Warda, who was traumatized, was urgently taken to a private hospital. Anwar said his youngest daughter, Maha, 12, left the same school due to concerns about violence and is now registered elsewhere.
Anwar has submitted a request to the Sialkot district police officer for the registration of a first information report.
A formal complaint has also been sent to the Punjab main minister, urging immediate action. No response was received from the director when he contacted.
The district police spokesman, Malik Waqas Ahmed, confirmed that a complaint was received from the victim’s father.
“A report from the DSP Tariq Mahmood City Circle has been sought,” he said.
