Congress leader alleges ‘political use’ of religious leaders by NDA in Bihar

Katihar: main leader of Congress Tariq Anwar Sunday he accused the NDA led by BJP in Bihar to make “political use” of religious leaders as Acharya Dhirendra Shastri Aka Bageshwar Baba before the assembly surveys at the end of this year. Anwar was asked, who went to a press conference in his constituency of Lok Sabha de Katihar, about Shastri’s tour of Gopalaganj, where he is likely to stay until Monday.
The former minister of the Union, in a sarcastic tone, said: “I have no problem with which these religious leaders go anywhere. But, I wonder why they are obliged to take the trouble to visit areas destined for surveys.”
“It seems that the NDA is making the political use of these ‘drool’, since it distrusts each other to face people in the elections with their sad history about the government,” said Anwar.
Shastri, 29, has been talking about the need to make India a “Hindu rash”, attracting acute reactions of the parties opposed to BJP, who claim that the saffron party was supporting him to polarize voters throughout the religious lines.
