Nueva Delhi: at least seven people, including four children and two women, were killed in an explosion of gas cylinders on Monday in Western Bengal. South 24 Parganas district.
According to police officers, a woman also suffered wounds in the explosion that took place in a house in the Dholaghat de Pathar Pratima block around 9 pm.
“All the bodies have been recovered. The injured woman was rescued from the house and entered the hospital,” said the Sindanban Sp Koteswara Rao Police district to the PTI news agency.
The authorities believe that the explosion occurred after the firecrackers stored in the house went on when two gas cylinders inside exploited. All bodies have been recovered from the site.
