Nueva Delhi: US National Intelligence Director (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard arrived in India on Sunday as part of his trip of multiple nations to Indo-Pacific regions.
Gabbard will attend a high -level conference chaired by National security Ajit Doval Advisor, focusing on strengthening Intelligence exchange mechanisms To address Terrorism and transnational crimes.
The event, which will take place in the national capital, will bring together the chiefs of intelligence of Australia, Germany, New Zealand, and other key associated nations to improve Global Security Cooperation.
The visit of Tulsi Gabbard to India occurs after the trip of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the United States in February. During his visit, Prime Minister Modi met with Gabbard and described her as a firm defender of India-United States Relations.
Gabbard, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to welcome Modi and emphasized his commitment to further strengthen ties between the two nations.
This marked Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the United States since Donald Trump began his second term as president. During the trip, Modi met Trump in the White House, where they exchanged a warm hug in their first official meeting since Trump assumed the position of 47th President on January 20.
Modi was among the first world leaders to visit the United States after Trump’s inauguration and was invited after three weeks that the new administration took over.
