Vancouver police say that several people have been killed and other injuries after a vehicle led to a crowd at a street festival Saturday night.
The incident occurred shortly after 8 pm near East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street, where the Lapu Lapu Day block party was being held.
Police said the driver is in custody.
In an X publication, the Vancouver Police Department said more information would be disclosed as the investigation is developed.

Previously, videos published on social networks showed emergency teams on the scene, with several people lying on the ground, some that appear injured.
CBC News has communicated with the Vancouver police for more details.
The NDP had made a campaign stop at the earlier festival in the day.
