Nueva Delhi: CBI has arrested two senior officials, including a superior general manager of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. and an attached general manager of a private company based in Mumbai, in a Founder case. CBI registered the case on March 19, against six defendants, including senior general manager, four representatives of the private company and other strangers.
According to CBI, the senior general manager was facilitating and extending undue favors in the processing and approval of invoices related to the contracts granted to the private company in exchange for illegal satisfaction. The accused officials were trapped with their hands in the dough after accepting a bribe of RS 2.4 Lakh in Sikar, Rajasthan.
