NEW DELHI: Himachal Pradesh School Education Board He canceled the class 12 exam for the March 2025 session throughout the state due to paper leakage reports, authorities reported Friday. The irregularity occurred at the Government’s senior high school, Chowari, in the Chamba district, where the Faculty mistakenly opened the document in English of Class 12 instead of the class 10 document.
The exam calendar had assigned on March 7 for class 10 English document, while the English class 12 document was scheduled for March 8.
The Board received an anonymous Council on March 7, claiming the premature revelation of the class 12 English questions before the designated time and date, as indicated in an official notice.
After rapid investigation, the Board authenticated the accusation through the video documentation of the “Miter Exams Application“, a system recently implemented for greater exam monitoring.
“As an anonymous complaint, it has been received at the board of the Board of 07.03.2025 (UN) with respect to the opening of class 10+2 questions on the English issue of the March-2025 annual examination in the Government. Mitra application” that has been introduced by the Board for the first time during this exam, “said the notification.

The secretary of the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Vishal Sharma, of the exercise of the authority under section 2.1.2 of the regulation of the Himachal Pradesh school education, 1993 (modified until July 2017), directed the immediate state cancellation of the English Exam of Class 12.
The Official Declaration also declared: “The President, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board in the exercise of the powers acquired in it U/S 2.1.2 of the HP 1993 School Education Exam regulation 1993 amended until July 2017, orders for the cancellation of the class 10+2 exam that is due to the total state for reasons.
The officials advised students to obtain future updates through the official HPBOSE website or their respective educational institutions.
