JAMMU: A joint team of security forces embarked on a search operation in Naidgam forests in Jammu and Kishtwar district in Kashmir on Friday after contributions on the movement of alleged terrorists. Meanwhile, on Thursday night, a loud sound of “explosion” was heard in the remote area of Theandi of the Rajouri district, but no damage or losses was reported.
“The army and the J & K police launched a massive search Special Operations Group (Sog) in the dense Naidgam forests based on intelligence inputs. The combs intensified after senior army officials and the police arrived at the scene to monitor the anti -terrorism operation. The security forces also established control points in various places to stop the suspicious movement, ”said an official source.
Meanwhile, around 7:30 pm on Thursday, a local police team was patrolling in Thanamandi de Rajouri when a sound similar to an explosion was heard. “After this, the area was cordoned off and an investigation was launched to the nature of the explosion,” said an official source.
