Marilyn Manson won’t be charged in Los Angeles following sexual assault investigation

Musician Marilyn Manson will not face positions of sexual assault or domestic violence after a four -year investigation, the Los Angeles County District Office said Friday.

Los Angeles County authorities announced a Manson investigation, whose real name is Brian Warner, in 2021 after several women accused him of abuse, including the former Evan Rachel Wood girl.

The investigation was carried out by prosecutors of the Sex Crimes Division of the Office of the District Prosecutor of the Los Angeles County and Detectives of the Sheriff Department of the Los Angeles County.

In a statement, the district prosecutor’s office said investigators could not file charges against Manson for the many accusations against him.

“We have determined that accusations of domestic violence fall outside the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt,” said a statement from the district prosecutor’s office.

The district prosecutor’s office recognized the courage of the women who spoke, and added that, although the charges did not appear against Manson, “the strong defense of the women involved has helped create greater awareness about the challenges faced by the Survivors of domestic abuse and sexual aggression. “

“Despite the necessary decision for the facts and evidence in this matter, the Office of the District Prosecutor of Los Angeles County remains totally committed to seeking justice for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual aggression as long as it is legally possible,” Read in the statement.

Manson did not respond immediately to a comment request.

The large number of accusations against Manson include Wood’s abuse in 2021, which accused him of preparing it when he was a teenager. Manson was not accused of any crime as a result of Wood’s demand, and finally filed a demand for defamation against her in 2022.

The “Game of Thrones” actor Esmé Bianco, also demanded Manson in 2021, accusing him of sexual aggression. Bianco resolved his claims against Manson in 2023 “to move forward with his life and career,” said a lawyer for her at that time.

Manson was also accused of sexual exploitation by a former personal assistant and sexual aggression by a model in 2021. Both cases were finally dismissed.

Manson had denied having acted in all accusations against him.
