NEW DELHI: The Union government declared a seven-day day on Thursday national mourning by Manmohan Singh.
According to officials, the Union Cabinet will meet at 11 am on Friday to pay tribute to the veteran Congress leader. Singh’s last rites will be performed with full state honorsofficials added.
Meanwhile, the Congress also announced that all official party programmes, including its founding day celebrations, will be canceled for the next seven days as a mark of respect towards the former prime minister.
