A man in the Swabi Yar Hussain district killed after allegedly killing four of his minor children on Thursday morning, authorities said.
The Yar Hussain (Sho) Abdul Wali station station officer said Dawn.com That police were informed about the bodies of the locals.
“The father received a gunshot wound in the head, while the 1122 rescue team found the bodies in the deceased man’s house and transferred them to Tehsil’s headquarters,” said Sho Wali.
The deceased were identified as Saiful Islam, 42; Ziaul Islam, 12; Abdur Rehman, 10; Healthy Umar, 8; and a two -year -old girl whose name could not be determined immediately.
Sho Wali said the incident seemed to be a domestic problem since the wife of the man had gone to his parents’ house.
He said the police had submitted a first information report (FIR) and began to interrogate more in the case.
Similar incidents have occurred in the recent past, with a man in Bhawalnagar allegedly committed suicide last December after shooting his wife and daughter for a subject related to the ‘honor’.
In May 2024, a man killed his two wives and four children and then ended his life in the town of Gulshan-I-Madinina de Faisalabad.
