HAL assures delivery of LCA Tejas to Indian Air Force


Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), which manufactures the Light combat plane ‘Texas’, gave guarantee on Tuesday regarding the resolution of technical difficulties and imminent delivery to the Air Force of India, after the reported concerns of the IAF AP Singh head. HAL President and Managing Director DK Sunil Said: “The delay is not simply attributable to only laziness by the industry.”
“There have been technical problems that have been solved. The concern of the air chief is understandable,” journalists informed the Aero India 2025 event.
He confirmed that there have been discussions on several levels, and Hal, a central PSU, would begin to the delivery of airplanes shortly.
He elaborated: “Now we have promised that we will have all the lists structures. We have transmitted this. We have had multiple meetings at different levels. We have transmitted this. We are building this. And once the engines are available, this begins to be implemented.
These statements were issued in response to the reports indicating that the head of the air staff, the Air Marshal AP Singh had expressed concern regarding the alleged delay in the delivery of tiles to the IAF.
