Police and prosecutors said on Tuesday that the two additional cases arose when they examined the patient archives and carried out forensic exams, including exhumations.

The last two cases include the alleged murder of a 25 -year -old woman in her apartment in Berlin in September 2021, in which it is suspected that the 40 -year -old doctor gives women a lethal mixture of several drugs with the intention. to kill her.

In addition, he is suspected of killing a 57 -year -old woman last June, also in his department in Berlin, managing a lethal mixture of medicines, the researchers said.

Prosecutors and the police said in a joint statement that it is said that the defendant had no reason beyond death, and that the acts of the suspect comply with the legal definition of “lust for the murder.”

According to the last findings, the murders took place between September 2021 and last summer.

On Tuesday, the police also asked former suspect colleagues or relatives of care receptors who have not had any contact with the police, but who can also suspect the death of patients or relatives, urging them to communicate with the police.

The name of the suspect has not been published, in accordance with the German privacy rules. Prosecutors say they have not yet responded to accusations.
