New Delhi: The Supreme Court remained on Thursday a Lokpal order that allowed him to entertain the complaints against Judges of the Superior Court under the law Lokpal and Lokayuktas, 2013.
A special bank headed by Judge Br Gavai issued a notice to the center and others, looking for their responses in the Motu Suo -initiated procedures on the order of January 27 of Lokpal.
The Apex court described the Lokpal decision as “very disturbing”, stating that it undermines the independence of the Judiciary.

The Lokpal had approved the order based on two complaints against an additional judge of a superior court. The accusations affirmed that the judge influenced an additional district judge in the State, as well as another judge of the Superior Court that manages a claim filed against the plaintiff by a private company.
It was also alleged that the private company had been a client of the Judge of the Superior Court when he was practicing as a defender.
