The opener Fakhar Zaman will not travel with Dubai’s team for the ongoing tournament of ICC Champions Trophy, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said Thursday.
The development occurs when Zaman was injured while presenting himself early in Pakistan’s first match against New Zealand yesterday at the Karachi National Stadium.
“Fakhar Zaman does not travel with the side to Dubai. The ICC will make more ads in due time, ”said the Board.
Pakistan’s next game will be a high -risk shock against India on Sunday in Dubai after India refused to travel to Pakistan to play her games.
To accommodate India in the eight -nations tournament, the ICC adopted a bidirectional hybrid model with the consent of the PCB and the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) to celebrate all the games of the champions trophy that involve India in Dubai.
