Nueva Delhi: The head of the AAM AADMI party, Arvind Kejriwal, wrote on Sunday to the Electoral Commission of India claiming “intimidation and harassment” of Volunteers of AAP for the workers of the Bharatiya Janata party and the Delhi police.

Kejriwal made certain demands to “avoid the flagrant misuse of the agencies of application of the law for political purposes and guarantee a free and fair election.”

  • The Electoral Commission must guarantee the safety of AAP volunteers.
  • Immediate suspension of police officers involved in such incidents.

Delhi is scheduled for surveys on February 5. The votes would be counted on February 8.
