“It probably still happened!” said another.

It happened just before 3 pm et on Wednesday at the Drivest Driver exam center at Lambton Mall Road in Sarnia.

Staff sergeant. Jim McCabe, from the Sarnia Police Service, said that a driver, whom he described as an old woman, was trying to park, but her foot slid over the brake on the gas pedal “and unfortunately that vehicle accelerated in the building.”

McCabe did not know if the driver had returned from a test or not.

“My first thought, of course, was, you know, for everyone’s safety. And then it went to the latter, it did not go beyond me, once I read the sign of the exact location, that someone led through the main door of the driver’s test.”
