An Australian woman avoided the jail on Monday for her plans to sell on the black market, two human fingers who had been regurgated by dogs in the animal shelter where she worked.
Joanna Kathlyn Kinman, 48, was not present in the refuge of animals in the southeast state of Victoria when the two dogs vomited the fingers of the feet and other remains in February 2024. On Monday, Kinman declared himself guilty of offensive conduct that involves human remains in the Ringwood magistrates court in Melbourne, the news agency said. He faced a maximum possible sentence of two years in prison.
