The stars of the WNBA Courtney Vandersloot and Allie Quigley apparently welcomed their first child together.
His daughter, Jana Christine Vandersloot Quigley, was born on April 8, according to People magazine.
“We are on the moon to welcome our girl to the world,” Vandersloot and Quigly said to People in an exclusive interview. “We have been dreaming of this moment for a long time, and it is better than we could have imagined!”
The representatives of the couple did not immediately respond to a request for comments to confirm the news of their daughter’s birth.
The photos shared with people show the family, including their dog, posing at the foot of a white bed.
Vandersloot and Quigley got married in 2018, years after gathering on a flight home from Slovakia at the end of the 2012-2013 season of the Euroleague, People reported. Both were on their way to Chicago to prepare for the next WNBA season with the sky.
2013 marked Quigley’s debut season with Chicago Sky, where he remained until 2022. He chose to stay out of the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Vandersloot has been playing for heaven since 2011, except for two seasons in New York in 2023 and 2024.
