Morgan Wallen’s second period as a musical guest at “Saturday Night Live” is stirring some controversy among spectators.
On Saturday, Oscar winner Mikey Madison was the host of the Comedy Show of Night Sketchs for the first time with Wallen as a musical guest.
During the episode, the country music star performed two songs from its next “I’M The Problem” project, including the main song of the album and a song called “Solo in Case”.
At the end of the show, Madison and Wallen remained in the center of the stage for their good night, which are generally broadcast while the announcements subsequent to the credits. Instead of mixing with the host and the cast of the show, which has become part of the tradition “Snl”, Wallen was seen leaving the stage almost immediately, according to a clip shared in X by the official “SNL” account.
It is not clear why Wallen left the stage before the rest of the crew. Today.com contacted to comment but did not receive an answer.
The singer has not commented at the time, but shared an Instagram story in the early hours of Sunday, after the conclusion of the episode. The singer published a photo, which seemed to be taken from the window of an plane, capturing a click from another plane in the asphalt.
“Bring me to the country of God,” said the publication.
Today.com communicated to comment on Wallen’s publication, but he hasn’t had news.
Wallen has a controversy story dating from 2016, including one with “SNL”.
In October 2020, Wallen was attracted as the program’s musical guest after she was caught in a video supposedly breaking the COVID-19 protocols while celebrating without a mask. He reserved again in the program in December 2020 and even mocked his cancellation in a sketch.
Over the years, it has been subject to additional criticism, including its recording contract temporarily suspended in February 2021 after it was caught by the Chamber using a racial insult. However, the following year, it reappeared at the awards and won the album of the year at the Country Music Academy Awards in May 2022.
In December 2024, Wallen declared himself guilty of two minor crimes of reckless danger after his arrest after throwing a chair of the roof of a bar. He was sentenced to seven days of imprisonment at a DUI education center and two years of probation.

Another publication said: “Morgan Wallen barely recognizes Mikey Madison and immediately leaves the stage like a baby during Snl’s farewells. Woof.”
“Everyone talks about Morgan Wallen assaulting SNL’s stage, but we should ask @nbcsnl invited him back?” A publication pointed out.
