Nueva Delhi: Former main minister and leader of the AAM AADMI party, Atishi, congratulated Wednesday Rekha Gupta Being called Delhi cm by the Bharatiya Janata party.
Atishi congratulated Gupta while emphasizing the importance of fulfilling the promises made by the BJP to the people of Delhi. “I would like to extend my sincere congratulation to Rekha Gupta Ji, and I hope that all the promises made by the BJP to the people of Delhi are fulfilled,” said the leader of the AAP.

Delhi obtaining his fourth woman CM, Atishi said: “It is a very positive step that women are obtaining representation in politics. Even after so many years of independence, we see that only Mamata Banerje currently occupies the position of main minister in any Indian state. Rekha Gupta’s appointment is a pride issue for women in this country. “
Atishi, however, also said that the BJP government needs to fulfill the promises made to the women of Delhi.
“I also hope that the promises made to women for the Bharatiya Janata party, such as providing 2,500 rupees as fees to all women in Delhi, are fulfilled. This should be approved at the first meeting of the cabinet, and for March 8, in Women’s Day, the amount must be accredited to the accounts of Delhi’s women.
Rekha, a MLA for the first time, won the constituency of Shalimar Bagh in the elections of the Delhi assembly, defeating Bandana Kumari of AAP for 29,595 votes. This victory marked the end of the fortress of a decade of AAP in the area.
