NEW DELHI: An Indonesian delegation performed the iconic Bollywood song ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai‘at a banquet organized by President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday, adding a cultural touch to the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The event at Rashtrapati Bhavan, held in honor of the President of Indonesia Prabowo SubiantoThe celebration was also attended by senior members of the Indonesian cabinet, who joined in the celebrations.
The song is the title track of the classic Bollywood film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ which features Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles. Jatin Lalit’s musical composition, featuring vocals by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, gained immense popularity and continues to resonate with audiences around the world today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Delhi’s Hyderabad House on Saturday.
Prime Minister Modi welcomed President Subianto, specifying the historical bond that two countries share and stating that “Indonesia was the chief guest country on India’s first Republic Day and as we celebrate 75 years of the Republic, “It is a source of great pride to have Indonesia part of this occasion again.”
During their meeting, both leaders emphasized their dedication to improving the comprehensive strategic partnershipparticularly in areas of defense, security, maritime cooperation, economic relations and cultural exchanges.
