Unusually high waves have been wreaking havoc on the northern and central coasts of Peru.
Video from Friday shows massive waves rolling over sailboats, swallowing jet skis and crashing onto the Peruvian coast as onlookers move away from the water.
The waves are expected to continue for another week, according to the Peruvian navy.
The waves have led the authorities of the South American country to close 80 ports and several beaches.
Despite hitting coastal fishing communities hard, no deaths have been reported in the country due to the unusually high waves.
Videos from the area show debris on the shores of the beaches and flooding in nearby streets.
