Video shows gunmen breaking into home of former Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman


Three gunmen broke into the former corner of the Seattle Seahawks, Richard Sherman, during the weekend, while his wife and two children were at home.

On Monday, Sherman shared images in X of what seemed to be the intruders who carried firearms and crashed through a large window.

“House being stolen at gunpoint with my family, it is not what nobody wants for a birthday gift,” he published. “Fear situation that my wife masterfully handled and kept my children safe.”

He said he was sharing the video in case someone had information that could help the authorities find intruders.

“If someone has any information that can help find these people, communicate,” he wrote.

Sherman’s wife, Ashley Moss, said she and children are “physically well” but “very shaken and hope to find these people soon.”

“Awakening Intruders out of your room with a gun is something that nobody should have to experience,” he wrote in his Instagram stories on Monday. “As I said they tried wrong people! We will find you!”

King County Sheriff’s office said the robbery occurred just after Sunday. Until Tuesday morning, there had been no arrests, and suspects had not been identified.

“As this is still an open and active investigation, there is not much more to share at this time,” said the Sheriff’s office in a statement.
