A bear briefly chased the Pettle Kraken of Pro Hockey in a hairy confrontation before the Grizzly Goon let the sea troll skied unharmed.
Boya, the official animator of the relatively new NHL franchise in Seattle, and Kraken John Hayden striker was spreading the good will of her team in Alaska and fishing a little in the Katmai National Park.
It was then that the fierce mammal seemed to go to the attack, forcing the buoy, Hayden and his linemates to clear the area.
“While we were fishing, we received a couple of nearby calls with a couple of bears,” said Hayden.
The growl bear took several aggressive steps towards the buoy, but then threw the persecution.
Hayden joked saying that the animal just wanted a look closer to the buoy, which was dressed in its normal game costume along with the fishermen’s carriers.
“I want to blame the Boya. They were quite interested in all their appearance,” said Hayden. “We left that well, but it was a close call.”
