Cairo: an organization backed by the United States and Israeli that distributes help in Gaza said Thursday that it was reopening two distribution sites per day after closing them after a series of mortal shootings near their operations.
The United States Humanitarian Humanitarian Foundation said that only two sites in the Rafah area of South Gaza would operate on Thursday, after all sites were closed the previous day to maintain maintenance. The GHF had opened three sites earlier for the week, and one of the Thursday sites was in a new location, he said.
The GHF, which has been fiercely criticized by humanitarian organizations, including the United Nations for alleged lack of neutrality, began to distribute help last week.
