Nueva Delhi: Nepal’s ambassador to India Shankar Sharma met with Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath, in Lucknow, to discuss bilateral relations at a time of growing disturbances in Nepal for the demands to restore the monarchy.
Sharma turned to social networks to share details of the meeting, stating: “Very happy to meet with Uttar Prime Minister Pradesh Shri @myogiadityanath in Lucknow today. Monday’s meeting followed the violent protests last week in the Katmandu Tinkune area, where two people, including a photojournalist, were killed and more than 100 other wounds suffered.
