Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Uddhav Thakeray, criticized the Bharatiya Janata party on Sunday for creating division and poisoning society. He urged his followers to counteract ‘Jai Shri Ram‘ with ‘Jai Shivaji‘ and ‘Jai Bhavani‘During his speech to party workers.
He insisted that anyone who says to Jai Shri Ram should also be made to say Jai Shivaji and Jai Bhavani. He expressed a strong opposition to BJP’s actions, affirming his intention to challenge them for their social impact.
“If someone says Jai Shri Ram, don’t let the person leave without making sure Jai Shivaji and Jai Bhavani. The BJP has poisoned our society. I’m going to give BJP a difficult time for what they have done to our society,” he said.
Thakeray questioned the patriotic position of BJP, pointing out its changed position in international sports. He pointed out that despite the opposition prior to the matches with Pakistan, India now plays Crick with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
In response to the comment of the assembly of the Principal Minister Devendra Fadnavis on the continuity of the project, Thackeray suggested that if Fadnavis wishes to follow his example, he must implement exemptions of farmers’ loans and increase the funds for the Shiv Bhojan and Ladki Bahin programs in the March 10 budget.
Thakeray explained his decision to stop certain projects during his main minister. He said he would have transferred Metro 3 from Carshed to Kanjur Marg if he had remained in office, claiming that the earth is currently being assigned to the Adani group.
Metro 3 Carshed’s location remained a controversial problem between the BJP and Thakeray party. After the collapse of the MVA government led by Thackeray in 2022 due to the rebellion of Eknath Shinde, the new BJP government chose Aarey in the Western suburbs for the Carshet, contrary to the preference of Thakeray by Kanjur Marg in the east.
