Uddhav slams Fadnavis, claims BJP inciting riots | India News

DEVENDRA FADNAVIS, UDDHAV THACKEY

Mumbai: The MVA opposition criticized the Maharashtra government about violence in Nagpur, with Uddhav Thackeray aimed at CM and Interior Minister Devendra Fadnavis, even as the MPCC Chief Harshawardhan Sapkal rejected the demand of Mahayuti Net for an apology for his statement containing Fadnavis to Allangzebzebzeb.
Uddhav asked: “Fadnavis’s house is in Nagpur. The RSS headquarters is also there … What has done for so many years? If the disturbances were previously planned, was he sleeping his department of origin? If the department of origin had heard that this conspiracy was being cooked, did they ignore it? Many questions arose.”
Sapkal said: “My words were twisted. I compared the administration of Fadnavis with Aurengzeb. We called Aurangzeb Cruel while governing through betrayal and division. Under Fadnavis, the divisive forces have become more active. Maharashtra is witnessing a sudden spurious in incidents of suicides and criminal assaults against women,” he said.
Uddhav said that people like Rahul Solapurkar, Prashant Koratkar and former governor BS Koshyari had insulted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. “But BJP is saving and inciting disturbances in the name of Aurengzeb. The deputy of BJP, Pradeep Purohit, made a statement in the Parliament that Prime Minister Modi was Shivaji Maharaj in his previous life … If even a person who insults Shivaji Maharaj is beaten in public, such incidents will not happen in the future,” he said.
MPCC spokesman Atul Londhe said that the statements made by deputy CM Eknath Shinde, such as asking if Sapkal’s language must be cut, are inflammatory and encourage attacks against him. “
