Flydubai low -cost with headquarters at EAU Flydubai has started flights to Bacha Khan International Airport of Peshawar, the Pakistan Aviation Authority (PAA) said today in a statement.
Peshawar Airport is an important passenger center with 75 percent of flights internationally, according to the Paa website.
Flydubai’s inaugural flight, FZ 375, “arrived to Peshawar last night with 164 passengers,” said the PAA in a statement.
He added that the flight received a water canyon greeting at Bacha Khan airport, which is a traditional aviation gesture to honor inaugural flights.
A ceremony of cake at the arrival of Flydubai was also held, the statement added.
The US -based airline will operate daily flights to Peshawar from Dubai, Flydubai said in a statement.
The PAA said that Peshawar air connections to the Gulf and Europe countries will be expanded.
Fz 375 came back to Dubai at 2:20 am pkt with 184 passengers, the statement concluded.
In October 2023, the Salam Air airline with headquarters in Qatar also began flights to Peshawar.
The carrier had announced flights twice a week from Muscat to Peshawar, scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays.
