“There is only one Palestine and is occupied by Israel, a genocidal criminal entity,” says Fatima Bhutto.
The president of the United States, Donald Trump, together with the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Monday presented a 20 -point plan for Gaza, seeking to negotiate a high fire, an exchange of hostages, demilitarization and a transition government structure.
The two leaders have warned that Israel “would end the work” against Hamas if the Palestinian group rejects the agreement. The key Muslim nations have put their weight behind the plan, while Washington’s European allies have urged Hamas to accept it.
For his part, Pakistan, who was personally grateful for Trump while announcing the agreement, has acclaimed the 20 -point plan; Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed him with the welcome and requested the implementation of the solution of two states.
“I am also convinced that lasting peace between the Palestinian people and Israel would be essential to bring political stability and economic growth to the region,” he said in an X publication on Sunday night.
Prime Minister’s comments, however, have caused strong reactions at home, with politicians, analysts, journalists and activists who criticize their support of the Trump Plan and call it a “surrender.”
The author and former diplomat Abdul Basit said: “This is a complete surrender of the Muslim world. They cannot even mention a Palestinian state with this Jerusalem as its capital.”
He added that it would be a “big mistake” for Pakistan to join Abraham’s agreements before the establishment of the Palestine State.
As part of Abraham’s agreements, signed during Trump’s first mandate in office, four Muslim majority countries had agreed to normalize diplomatic relations with Israel after US mediation.
He also questioned why the prime minister was supporting the plan “knowing very well that he is literally discarding any possibility of creating the state of Palestine.”
The leader of Majlis Wahdat-I-Muslimeen (MWM) Allama Raja Nasir, described Trump’s plan as a “defective and unfair proposal that ignores the rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people.”
“This secret plan, elaborated without open dialogue, excludes the Palestinians and imposes a solution focused on the United States that prioritizes Israeli interests on Palestinian justice,” he said.
He said that the plan set aside the key Palestinian voices, demanded the dissolution of Hamas without addressing its support base and was vague on the issue of the status of Palestinian status. He also ignored critical issues such as the state of Jerusalem and Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, he said.
“No solution can succeed without the significant participation of the Palestinian people and all interested parties. A dictation from top to Washington has no possibility,” he said.
He added that Shehbaz’s prime minister “hastened this plan, betraying both the Palestinian cause and Pakistan’s historical solidarity, is surprising.”
“His support for a framework promoted by the US. UU., Without consulting the Pakistani people, who share a deep emotional attachment with the Palestinian cause, or guarantee the Palestinian inclusion, undermines that cause. Only a transparent and inclusive process of peace that focuses the Palestinian voices and offers a true supplication of supplementation can bring a plan that perpetuates the occupation under the guide of the peace, Peace says, “according to him.
“There is a problem in which there is a complete consensus in Pakistan and that is the problem of Palestine,” said human rights activist lawyer Magean Zainab Mazari-Hazir.
“This Zionist slave and his teachers will never be forgiven by the people of Pakistan for this,” he said.
The author and activist Fatima Bhutto said that her Pakistani passport prohibited her from entering Israel as the country to which she belonged had a “duty” for the Palestinian people.
“A Pakistan who abandons that moral and sacred obligation is a shame and humiliation,” he said.
She said the Pakistani people would never accept a “surrender of two states.” “There is only one Palestine and is occupied by Israel, a genocidal criminal entity,” he said.
“Talking about normalization during the live holocaust of Israel of our Palestinian brothers and sisters is a devastating betrayal. Why does Pakistan exist? It is a state to protect Muslims. He should do it,” he said.
The journalist Talat Hussain also criticized the plan, saying: “The Plan: No Palestinian State; no Palestinian authority in Gaza; Hamas goes to the dump from the history of history after freeing all the prisoners; Netanyahu becomes the patient with peace after killing 64,000 Palestinians; Trump directs Gaza as bonanza root fresh “.
In a thread on X, the journalist Zarrar Khuhro said: “Standing next to a war criminal, Trump has presented a” plan “that can never really work and that Israel sabotages in a short time while blaming the Palestinians.”
He pointed out that the official line had always been a solution of two states, not only of Pakistan, but of most nations.
He said that the whole plan would probably be a way to “run to Israel and provide an alternative objective for the wrath of the Palestinians. It should be kept away from such proposals given the terrestrial realities and the nature of genocidal Israel.”
“Whatever the ‘incentives’, the Pakistan government should not support Israel’s laundering or join a security agreement that is equivalent to greater oppression of the Palestinians. This will be absolutely unacceptable for all Pakistani,” he said.
“In any case, so far, there has been no response from Hamas or any other Palestinian group. We know that Israel establishes impossible conditions exactly to be rejected and that they can carry out their extermination agenda. This new” plan “will probably end the same,” he said.
Activist Ammar Ali Jan reacted to the Prime Minister, saying: “What a shame for talking about ‘Paz’ with the Zionist entity at a time when he is committing a genocide of Palestinians.
“The people of Pakistan will never forgive those who join the Trump plan to normalize these genocidal maniacs. He dares dare to cross this red line,” he said.
The veteran politician Javed Hashmi said that Quaid-I-Azam’s position was clear that Israel was a “bastard state.”
“What a shame for you, your teachers and those puppets whose hands drip with the blood of the Palestinians. History will not forgive you,” he said.
Jamaat-I-Islami Central Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said his party categorically rejected the declaration of the Prime Minister.
“The Charter of the United Nations is clear: each nation has the right to armed struggle if their land is occupied, and no power can be denied by force this right. To praise any call proposal of peace built on the bodies of 66,000 Palestinians martyrdos is to support the oppressors,” he said.
“Without the will and consent of the Pakistani nation, how can anyone dare to speak with Donald Trump’s voice?” asked.
Former Finance Minister Asad Umar said that Prime Minister Shehbaz had “revoked a cornerstone of Pakistan’s policy for decades with respect to Palestine, when supporting the Trump plan.”
“He has done it without any national debate and a mandate of the nation,” he said, added that there were seven questions that the prime minister needed to answer.
“The plan says that Gaza will be derailized and will become a horror free zone. Why doesn’t it say the same about Israel, which is the most radical country in the world and a threat to world peace?” asked.
“The Israeli hostages will be released immediately, but Israel will retire in an indefinite future time in phases. With Israeli history to break each peace agreement, why do you trust and not withdraw immediately?” He continued.
“How can you support only 600 trucks per day? [of] Help goods for a population of more than two million, many on the edge of starvation? Even this level agreed in the January 2025 agreement has not been allowed by Israel, ”he said.
I also disagreed with the implementation of a technocratic government in Gaza supervised by the United States. “Why conferences of democracy for the rest of the world and an effective colonized technocracy for Gaza?”
“Hamas will not have any role in Gaza, but Netanyahu, who has attacked five sovereign nations in last year and killed more than 66,000 Gazans, including 20,000 children, allowed to continue?” Umar continued.
“When re -urbanization progresses, the conditions can be in their place for a path to Palestinian status! In other words, there is no solution of two states for decades and probably never. How can you support this betrayal?” He questioned.
“Why is there no word about stopping and evacuating illegal Israeli settlements?”
The leader of Tehreek-i-Tahafuz-I-Ayeen-Pakistan, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, described the joint statement issued by Muslim countries as a “surrender.”
“Netanyahu is left without Scottish after committing genocide!” said.
