Two, including cop, shot and injured by terrorists in Shangla: police official – Pakistan

A police officer and his uncle were injured when the terrorists attacked them in their town in the Martung Shangla area on Thursday, according to a police officer.

PURAN SUBDIVISCIONAL POLICE ORFORY Circle (SDPO) Usman Munir Khan said Dawn.com that the agent’s mother had died and was receiving visitors at home at the time of the attack.

“The policeman was shot twice in the right thigh and once each at the bottom of the abdomen, arm and shoulder,” said Sdpo Khan. “His uncle was shot in the chest. Both have been transferred to the Martung Rural Health Center for treatment.”

The SDPO said that the injured policeman was serving in the local intelligence service of the district security branch, adding that a first information report (FIR) had been submitted against unidentified terrorists and that a search operation was being carried out in the area to trace the culprits.

“The area where the incident occurred has been a site of militant activity in the past,” he said.

Today early, two people, including a woman, were killed and another 11 wounds after the unidentified suspects opened fire against a group of people returning from a funeral in the Gumbat Ganda chashma area in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kohat district, according to a police officer.

Kohat’s district police officer, Dr. Zahidullah Khan, said an initial police investigation suggests that the attack was motivated by personal enmity.

The injured, together with the deceased, have been transferred to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment and legal formalities, according to DPO Kohat.
