Two seven -year -old children were found dead in a house in Hafizabad de Punjab several days after they were reported as missing, according to a first information report (FIR).
According to a copy of the FIR, seen by Dawn.com and filed the complaint of the father of one of the victims: the plaintiff was heading to work at 7 am on Wednesday morning when he learned that his son had disappeared.
“When I returned from work at 9 or 10 pm, I couldn’t find my son,” said the plaintiff at the FIR. “We went to a neighbor’s house and found my son’s shoe there.”
According to the FIR, when asked about the missing child, the neighbor said that his grandson had also disappeared. The plaintiff added that he and other residents looked for the children and made ads through the mosques, without success.
On Thursday morning, the plaintiff was informed that the children had been seen with three suspects named and two unidentified.
“We arrived at a house where the suspects were present. When we asked them to open the door, they dispersed,” said the plaintiff.
Upon entering the house, the plaintiff said there was an unpleasant smell inside, and found the bodies of the two children in a metal box. “His bodies carried brands of violence,” said the plaintiff.
The incident was reported to the Police, who registered the FIR by virtue of sections 148 (disturbances, armed with mortal weapon), 149 (each member of the illegal assembly guilty of crime committed in the prosecution of common objects), 302 (punishment for murder) and 356 (assault or assault force attempt to commit the robbery of property by a person of the person).
Meanwhile, the medical superintendent of the Hafizabad District Hospital, Dr. Rizwan, said Dawn.com that children’s bodies had signs of physical violence and sexual abuse.
“The initial postmortem report showed clear signs of violence in children’s bodies and evidence of abuse in their delicate organs,” said Dr. Rizwan.
He also said that samples for forensic analysis had been collected and that the full report detailing the cause of death would be presented tomorrow.
