Two brothers died, while many others were injured on Saturday after a landslide hit two vehicles in the Loter area of the District of Alta Kohistan in the Haza Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the authorities said.

The incident took place today on a road between Dasu and Raikot when an oil tanker and a poultry supplier truck fell into a ravine after the ground sliding rocks hit them, confirmed the additional assistant commissioner (AAC) of Kohistan. Dawn.com.
The brothers were identified as Islamzada and Sahibzada, 32 years and 33, respectively, according to a statement issued by the Hospital of the Headquarters of the District of Alta Kohistan.
He added that two others, 40 -year -old Jahanzeb and Mohammad Niaz, 42, both came from Abbotabad, were injured.
“The bodies of both brothers are unrecognizable when they were put under the rubble of the slide, and both are residents of the Batchot area, Bisham Tehsil,” Gul said.
He added that arrangements were being made in the hospital so that the bodies move to their native peoples.
The road had been clear for traffic, said the additional assistant commissioner.
Speaking about the KKH, AAC Gul said the road remained blocked in Lolar. However, he added, the machines have been sent to the location to eliminate debris and open them for traffic.
The Department of Meteorology of Pakistan (PMD) has predicted another rain spell throughout the country, since it is likely that a western wave approached March 2.
According to the PMD, there is the possibility of land/avalanche landslides in mountainous areas of KP, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the period.
Hailstorm storm is also expected in isolated places at the top of KP, the top of Punjab /Islamabad and Kashmir. He advised tourists and travelers who visited mountainous areas to remain cautious during the period.
