The president of the United States, Donald Trump, promoted a new website for planned residence permit of $ 5 million in the United States on Wednesday, saying that the waiting list for the Gold Visa has opened Trumpcard.gov.
“Thousands have been calling and asking how they can register to set up a beautiful path to get access to the best country and the market anywhere in the world,” Trump wrote in a publication on social networks.
Trump announced the first visa aboard Air Force One in April, holding a gold prototype that was given his face and promising that the special permit would probably be available “in less than two weeks.”
The visas are not yet available, but the website announced on Wednesday allows interested parties to send their desired name and email address under a header that says “the Trump card is coming.”
Trump previously said that the new visa, a high -price version of the traditional green card, would bring employment creators and could be used to reduce the US national deficit.
The announcement occurs when deportation raids are increasing throughout the country, which causes protests and, when the Trump administration faces current demands and accusations of rights violations for their anti-immigration bombardment.
Trump has said that the new card would be a route to highly precious American citizenship. He said in February that his administration hoped to sell “perhaps one million” of the cards and did not rule out that Russian oligarchs could be eligible.
