The dispute between President Donald Trump and the veteran rock star Bruce Springsteen intensified Wednesday after the commander in chief published a video managed on social networks that showed the singer with a golf ball.
In the publications, shared with the accounts of the President and X’s truth, Trump is shown hitting a golf ball. The video shows a 75 -year -old Springsteen clip, stumbling with one of its shows and rolling while falling to the stage. A golf ball seems to be added to the second clip as if Trump were responsible for hitting Springsteen and making him fall.
The publication comes when the president and the singer of “Born in the USA” have publicly changed to Barbs after Springsteen’s comments last week during the opening show of his European tour.
“The America that I love, the America I have written, which has been a lighthouse of hope and freedom for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treacherous administration,” he said.
Then he accused the Trump administration of “abandoning the poorest children in the world of illness and death … having a sadistic pleasure for pain inflicting from American workers loyal” and retreating civil rights in the United States.
Initially, the Trump administration responded with a statement, saying that “the 77 million Americans who chose President Trump disagreed with elitist celebrities and out of contact as Bruce Springsteen.”
Later, Trump responded to the comments about Truth Social, saying that Springsteen was “overrated” and a “jerk.”
“He never liked him, he never liked his music, or his radical left policy and, more importantly, he is not a talented guy, only an aggressive and unpleasant fool, who fervently supported Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent fool, and our worst president, who approached to destroy our country,” Trump wrote.
Springsteen is not the only musician who talks about Trump, or the only one at the receptor end of Trump’s anger.
Last week, Trump published about how Taylor Swift, who recently finished a massive two -year tour and records, is no longer “hot” since he published that he hated her after her support for former Democratic presidential presidential Kamala Harris presidential.
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I hate Taylor Swift’, he’s no longer ‘hot?'” Trump wrote Friday.
Springsteen and Swift representatives did not immediately respond a comment request.
Other musicians such as Neil Young and Pearl singer Jam Eddie Vedder have come in defense of Springsteen and Swift.
“Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining the United States. You worry about that instead of Dyin children in Gaza,” Young wrote on their website. “That is your problem. I’m not afraid of you.”
During a Pittsburgh concert on Sunday, Vedder said that Trump’s response to Springsteen has nothing to do with the concerns he raised.
“Everything we hear were personal attacks and threats that no one should try to use their microphones or voice in public or will be closed,” Vedder told the crowd.
