The president of the United States, Donald Trump, is not interested in talking with his former ally Elon Musk, in the midst of a bitter dispute on the president’s tax bill, a White House official said on Friday, adding that no phone call was planned between the two men for the day.
A separate official from the White House had said previously that Trump and Musk were going to talk to each other on Friday.
Previously, Donald Trump threatened to cut government contracts to Elon Musk companies and the richest man in the world suggested that the president of the United States should be accused, marking a marked end for an unlikely alliance and leaving the spectators wondering what the following was.
The hostilities between the former allies intensified when the president criticized the CEO of Tesla, Musk in the oval office and the couple, the verbal spikes were launched together on their social media platforms: Trump’s Truth Social and Musk’s X.
