Washington – Harvard University will not receive new federal subsidies until it meets a series of demands from the administration of President Donald Trump, the Department of Education announced Monday.
The action was presented in a letter to Harvard president and is equivalent to a great escalation of Trump’s battle with the Ivy League school. The administration previously froze $ 2.2 billion in federal subsidies to Harvard, and Trump is pressing to strip the school of his tax exempt from taxes.
