The traffic from Islamabad will deviate from Faizabad to the highway, while the traffic that goes from Rawalpindi to Islamabad will enter the capital through Chandni Chowk, Rehmanabad and 6th Road Chowk through Saidpur Road. The traffic from Ghausia Chowk will deviate towards Farooq Azam Road.
During the games, Stadium Road will be completely closed from both directions from 9th Avenue Chowk to the double turn.
The traffic that comes from Islamabad to the 9th avenue can enter Rawalpindi through Faizabad Expressway and IJP Road through Pandora Chungi, Katianian, Carriage Factory, Pirwadhai Mor. The traffic that goes from Rawalpindi to Islamabad through Double Road through 9th Avenue will enter Islamabad through Murree Road from Faizabad.
Cto Fátima said that citizens will receive awareness at the moment on the diversion points and the traffic situation through the official pages of the social networks of the Transit Police and the FM radio stations.
“We constantly strive due to the convenience and uninterrupted flow of traffic. The safety of the equipment and the uninterrupted flow of traffic in the city depend more on the cooperation of citizens than on security agencies and traffic police, ”he added.
