“It has been a month of total chaos in the Pentagon,” wrote John Ullyot, who had been a first spokesman for the Department of Defense before leaving his job there last week, he wrote in Politicus. “From leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass shots, dysfunction is now a great distraction for the president, which deserves better of his superior leadership.
“President Donald Trump has a strong history of making his officials accounts. Since it is difficult to see that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth remain in his position for much longer.”
The Department of Defense did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
