Last month, four Gujrat tourists who disappeared in Gilgit-Baltistan on May 16 were found dead on the shore of the Indo River, near the Isistak village in the Roundu Valley in Skardu.
In March, a UN report warned that glaciers and snow that melt quickly have endangered the global ecosystem and billions of people who trust the fresh water of these sources.
The report says that glaciers had an extreme risk due to global warming, pollution and unsustainable human activities, and if they were not properly handled, they could become a source of perpetual conflicts.
