Third suspect in M-4 motorway rape case arrested in Faisalabad – Pakistan

Toba Tek Singh: The Faisalabad Sandal Police claimed to have arrested the third suspect in the case related to the rape of a married woman during a robbery last Tuesday near the M-4 highway bridge in Jhang Road.

A city police spokesman says that after his arrest, the third suspect was sent to the Judicial Prison for his identification parade. He added that the other two suspects who were arrested previously had been transferred to jail for the same purpose.

The plaintiff Adnan Maseeh had said at the FIR that he was on his way to his native village, Chak 62 JB, Chanakay, on Tuesday night, along with his wife, a sweeper in a hostel of the University of Agriculture, when two armed men intercepted them.

He said that the suspects, who later joined his third accomplice, tied him to a tree with a rope and raped his wife in a sugarcane field.

The city police officer (CPO) Bilal Sahibzada praised the police team for the arrest of the third suspect.

Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz, who realized the incident, had sent Punjab IGP Dr. Usman Anwar to the Chamber of Victims, assuring him that the culprits would be arrested soon and taken to justice. The president of the Women’s Protection Authority of Punjab, Hina Parvez Butt, had also visited Faisalabad and met with the victim.

Two killed: A man and his minor nephew were allegedly killed after a young man opened indiscriminate fire in the house of his opponents in Chak 302 GB, Bhatti Wala, Sunday.

According to the signed by the Chuttiana police under section 302 of the PPC, the plaintiff, Uumer Shahbaz, said that the suspect, Liaqat Ali, opened indiscriminate fire at home, leaving his younger brother, Uumer Hayat (33) and his eight -month -old son, Ahsan Ali, critically wounded.

He said the injured died while they were transferred to the DHQ hospital.

The police are making raids to arrest the suspect.

Tiring: The Faisalabad Thikriwala police said on Sunday that a murder of Androbery, who was released by his accomplices two days, was allegedly killed by his accomplices during a “meeting” on Sunday.

Dijkot police had affirmed that the suspect, Shahid Ali Heera, was arrested and took a place to recover from the loot two days ago when his armed accomplices attacked the police truck and released him.

ACCIDENT: A man died after his motorcycle was beaten by a speed-speed car in Faisalabad-Sahiwal Road near Gujrati Chowk, Samundri Tehsil, Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Waris Ali (55), a government contractor of Chak 446 GB.
