Buying tickets for the FIFA 2026 World Cup will take patience, research and good luck. And the ticket window is about to start.
From September 10 to 19, Visa card holders can enter a presale raffle that covers the 104 games for the expanded 48 team tournament, which is being cohosted by Canada, the United States and Mexico.
The FIFA lottery is worldwide, with presale, Visa is a FIFA World Cup partner, followed by multiple “additional” phases.
It is one of the three ways in which Canadians can obtain tickets.
In addition to hospitality packages (already available), which vary at a price from $ 2,500 for a single game to the sky limit for custom experiences, Canadians can also enter a separate lottery for an opportunity in the allocation of Canada Soccer tickets for Canada Games. To do that, you must be a member of the Canaded support group, with details about the moment to come.

When the visa presale window is closed, a random raffle will be carried out. Applicants who are lucky to be drawn will be notified by email before September 29, completed with a dedicated date and time interval (from October 1 to 21) to connect and buy tickets, subject to availability.
Those interested in presale must first register in FIFA, be 18 years or older (and have a visa card). Other payment options are allowed for subsequent ticket windows.
The cheapest ticket for the group of the group stage will be $ 82, the lowest of four prices categories, and farther from the field. That extends to $ 9,200 for the most expensive ticket for the championship game.
FIFA warns, however, that these are prices at the beginning of ticket sale and will change subject to demand, even during presale. So wait for prices to increase.
Fans can buy up to four tickets per game, for up to 10 games. Then, a maximum of 40 tickets.
With the complete panorama of the unknown tournament until the draw of December 5 in Washington, DC, the initial presale will be somewhat blind in terms of who plays where, apart from the already announced location of the games of the group stage of the host teams (Canada opens on July 12 in Toronto before moving to Vancouver for 18 and 24 July games).
Even so, fans can request presale for generic tickets of a single game, specific tickets (Toronto is organizing six games in total, with Vancouver organizing seven) and specific team tickets (a package that includes the three games in group stage for a specific side).
The initial visa presale draw will imply approximately one million tickets. FIFA has not provided a number on total tickets that will be available for the tournament.
The presale will be followed by a “early ticket raffle, whose registration window is executed from October 27 to 31, with time intervals for purchase from mid -November to the beginning of December.
Other windows will continue in the first two quarters of 2026, with fans capable of requesting specific matches with the knowledge of who plays where.
Canadian fans will be able to request Canada’s games through the FIFA raffle (although they will not sit in the Canadian followers section at the stadium). Fans from other countries can buy a specific package of the equipment and obtain a refund in case your team does not qualify.
FIFA also plans to launch its own resale platform for tickets.
Canada Soccer has not yet provided details of time of its tickets lottery through its renewed Canadardar program, which is an enlarged version that is used to distribute Canada game tickets in the 2022 tournament in Qatar, the first trip of Canadian men to soccer showcase since 1986.
There are seven levels, ranging from free to $ 5,000 per year, with tax receipts available for the charity component of each contribution. A separate lottery will be carried out for each of the Canadian matches, with an equal number of tickets assigned to a draw at each Canaded level. Members who are not successful in the lottery at their level become eligible for the lottery at lower levels.

Canada Soccer obtains eight percent of the “buyable inventory” for each Canada game in the World Cup, distributed in different prices categories.
With a 45,000 tournament for BMO Field and 54,000 for BC Place, eight percent translates into 3,600 and 4,320, respectively. But the number available for Canadians in the Canadeds lottery will be lower, with tickets for FIFA, sponsors, media and premium hospitality packages in the inventory.
Canadardar members may request conditional tickets for possible Canada Ronda knockout games.
