Quetta: The Baluchistan government said Wednesday that security forces are carrying out operations in “gray areas”, where distinguishing between friend and enemy is a difficult challenge.

In the province collective efforts and public cooperation are required. He said that after the arrest of a key suspect in Quetta, the scope of the investigations has been extended.
He said that security agencies had received intelligence on certain objective murderers, which led to multiple locations in the province. Several suspects were arrested during these operations.

According to the spokesman, a lawyer was also arrested along with other suspects during one of the raids, but was released after preliminary investigations clarified him from any irregularity. He said that security forces are ongoing to maintain law and order throughout Baluchistan.
“We have already made it clear that operations are being carried out in gray areas, where the identification of adversaries is not easy,” he said.
He also said that peace and stability cannot be achieved only with security forces and requires joint efforts of all sections of society.
“No innocent person will be harmed, since the questions and investigations are part of the legal process,” he added.
The provincial government, said Rind, will continue its efforts to restore peace and security in the province.
