A teenager who lost his family after a SUV crossed a crowd at a Vancouver festival is thanking those who donated to a fundraising campaign and says that it will give approximately half of the income to other victims.
In a video statement on social networks, Andy Le, 16, says he wants to thank those who donated to the Gofundme campaign from the bottom of his heart.
His father, Richard Le, the Madrastra Linh Hoang and his five -year -old sister, Katie Le, were killed along with eight others when a SUV ran down a street full of food trucks.
The fund collection campaign collected more than $ 542,000, and will donate $ 266,000 to the other victims, saying that “he knows that other families are also suffering.”
