Canada’s male athletic relay team joined its female counterparts at the top of the speed skating podium, one of the three gold on a six -measure tour on Sunday in the ISU World Championship in Beijing.

“All this is quite crazy, there are really no other words,” said team member Steven Dubois to Speed Skating Canada. “We expected some good results, and we knew we had a chance in each distance, but so that we literally win everything we play on the ice this weekend is surreal.
“We are the strongest team and we show it. It feels good to finish the year with such a good note.”
Canada also ended the season with 37 medals in six world tour stops. This summer, the athletes will begin the Olympic trip to Milan-Cortina in the Track Canadian Championship from August 23 to 31 in Montreal.
In the 5,000 male relay on Sunday, William Dandjinou, Maxime Laoun, Felix Roussel and Dubois returned to the top of the podium in the capital interior stadium, where 2022 Olympic gold claimed.
