Jammu: An army man who manages the control line (LOC) in Jammu and the Cashmiro Rajouri district was injured after a bullet, triggered from the other side of the border, hit him on Wednesday morning.
The soldier was part of a team parked in an advance in Kalsiyan of the Newshera sector, authorities said. After the shot, he was immediately evacuated to the Udhampur Military Hospital to receive specialized treatment. The authorities said an investigation had been launched to dismissal.
Later, on Wednesday, an explosion occurred in the Zero Line (LOC) in the Nakerkote area of the Digwar sector of Poonch around 9.20 am the Indian side did not suffer victims or injuries, official sources said.
India and Pakistan had on February 25, 2021, signed an agreement to keep the fire in the LOC, which the neighboring country has repeatedly violated. Last month, two members of the Army personnel were injured in separate cases of cross -border shot on February 10, 2025 (Rajouri) and on February 14, 2025 (Ponch), respectively.

In another development, a toy balloon was found with a Pakistani flag and a Pakistan International Airlines logo was found in the Ghagwal sector of the Samba district of Palauna on the Indian side of the international border. The security agencies launched a probe.
