Kolkata: Only three days before Valentine’s Day, a 17 -year -old girl was supposedly drugged and raped in group by two men in the Beniapukur area, near Kolkata’s Park Circus on Tuesday. The defendant also recorded the assault on his cell phones and tried to blackmail the victim. A few hours after their complaint, the police arrested the duo based on potential technical clients.
The police said the child knew one of the defendants, who pretended to be in a relationship with her. “The main defendant attracted her to the house of the second defendant under the pretext of celebrating the ‘Promise Day.’ He told him that they should promise that they stayed together in the presence of a friend.
