‘SNL’ taps into cynicism over Elon Musk’s White House influence

The questions about the extraordinary influence of the technological investor Elon Musk in the White House of President Donald Trump found answers that doubled as drilling lines in “Saturday Night Live”.

The show, aimed at the finish line of the season after celebrations and walls from wall to wall during a 50th anniversary programming weekend last month, took advantage of the Mojo cynical that helped him throw three generations ago by reflecting a sensation of chaos in the Trump second mandate administration.

With James Austin Johnson returning as a free Trump range and Mike Myers repeating his role as an musk that floated near the president as a sudden helicopter father, the program followed the money.

The cold opens found both of the Oval office with Marcello Hernández’s secretary, Marco Rubio, when Trump tried to fix Rubio’s relationship with Musk, since, according to the reports, the two faced Musk employees without taking into account whether to let them improve or damage his agency.

Johnson’s Trump said he could not tolerate internal struggles, especially when he returned to the White House so “otherwise it has been a soft start” in its term.

“I need you to be my good ‘little frame,” Trump said, using a nickname that the president used for Rubio when the two fought for the republican nomination for president in 2016.

Rubio de Hernández seemed insulted, saying that if Trump believes that he will only remain there and let the president call him that, “you are right.”

After a collision between a passenger plane and a military helicopter that killed 67 on January 30 and the accident the next day of an air ambulance plane that killed six, Trump suggested that Myers’s musk is the aviation expert that the country needs.

“Directs Spacex, who is doing incredible things in terms of explosions,” Trump said in an apparent reference to the recent explosion of a Spacex rocket.

And, speaking of the leadership of Rubio, Trump said: “He is the goat. It is the scapegoat, but it is still a type of goat.”

But when Rubio told Trump that he was close to concluding an agreement that would include control of the United States of the Panama Canal, a movement that the president wanted in real life, Trump said: “I no longer want”, instead of covering Thailand due to his appearance in “Blanco lotus.”

The president focused on making Musk and Rubio “things come out”, pointing out: “All those who have once worked for me have stayed in good terms.”

When Trump organized the Domestic Peace Summit, Musk began a dialogue in his mind, saying: “People really hate me” before placing a little finger in a corner of his mouth in the style of the villain in the film franchise “Austin Powers” by Myers, Dr. Evil.

“My personal equity has fallen at $ 100 billion,” he said about Musk’s sacrifice to be next to Trump.

Johnson’s Trump replied: “America is doing badly to a boy now.”

Trump had reassuring words for those concerned with the role of Musk, falling on jobs and budgets within the federal government: “You are not the boss,” he said.

Musk blocked those words in the blink of an eye, saying: “But I paid $ 300 million,” referring to the more than $ 250 million of musk that they spent promoting Trump during their campaign for president.

Trump came out of any anti-mudgic hypnosis that could have influenced it, responding, “and that is why you are the boss.”

Lady Gaga appeared as host and musical guest.

“SNL” is transmitted in NBC, a NBCuniversal division, which is also the NBC News parent company.
